The Rundle Park is a resort project situated on a land plot that is embraced by fascinating Rocky Mountain range. The enchanting and mysterious vibe of surrounding nature inspires a design concept with lush nature, and an accent of magical gardens, resulting in an adventurous experience in a mysterious, stunning, and wonderful landscape.
The project is divided into zones. Each zone narrates a chapter of a story, through unique conceptual feature of the project. Each zone has a distinctive design that illustrates a concept of each chapter, and also weaves all chapters together into a whole storyline.
The exterior plaza area creates a meeting place for both the resort and the town. The design utilizes native plants, native stones for seating, lighting, and the layout shields the plaza from views of the street traffic.
With influence from surrounding forests and mountains, the landscape design plays with a concept of natural, inviting visitors to soak in the wonderful nature, and get adventurous in the landscape.
The interior courtyard which main focus is the sunken hot tub with a fireplace. The hot tub is surrounded by cabanas floating on the water, and a floating wooden deck. The walkway surrounding the pool connects fireplace areas, saunas, an Airstream trailer, and a children’s playground. The green space around the hot tub expands and seamlessly continues to natural landscapes at the back of the project.
